The young Hammers returned to the top of the Division 1 table with this hard fought victory.

In an error strewn match where the passing of both sides was of a below average standard, it was the Hamworthy youngsters that snatched the winner their greater goal threat deserved.

James Dyer pounced on a loose ball in the box following a corner to drive home the only goal of the game, and this was after Weymouth had been denied the lead earlier in the second half with a very tight goal line clearance.
